BRAZIL - 1997 - OUR FIRST TRIP TOGETHER |

This is the very first trip we did together. In fact, it was the trip that we actually got engaged on. Starting off as a conference trip for the Skal Travel organization of which I was my local chapter's president, it evolved into the first trip of a lifetime spent together. I invited Wendy to attend with me, and we arrived at almost the same time in Rio Janeiro coming from two different continents.

  Our barman! Each one has a cooler and stakes out a piece of beach in which to sell drinks! They put empties in a circle drawn on the sand and you pay only when you leave. |

We decided on an exciting, let's jump off a mountain and go hang
gliding! of course not on our own, but strapped to an instructor. After the conference we took a local bus to the seaside village of Buzios. |
 It is a beach destination for locals from Brazil and Argentina to holiday at. |
