It was time to explore Brussels today and we have found in the many cities we have been to, the best way is to buy tickets for the hop on hop off bus.

EU25 each and we have transport for the day with full commentary in the language of our choice.

Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert - we can't afford anything here.  Move on!

Above is the Royal Palace where my best friend, the late Marc De Waele, spent several years restoring the art work and gold leaf inside the palace.

The Mont Des Arts park above and the Atonium Tower on the right.

The funkiest Starbucks you've ever seen.

Belgian beef stew for lunch with fries of course! DELISH!!!

By far the most fun was had today was at the Christmas market!

Of course you have to start off with some hot Gluhwein and add a shot of Amaretto for good measure

Food choices from the kiosks are endless. Wendy had a crepe and I had Braadwurst.

Salmon is smoked right n front of you

The streets are pretty crowded with happy people enjoying the season.

Note the moon in the picture on the right >>>

So a migrant tried to scam us but the cops spotted them and came over to warn us immediately about the scam. What they didn't know is that we had already spotted the scam and Wendy was in the process of scamming them back!

Yeah, we've been around the block a few times and are not easily taken in.

We saw migrants everywhere begging and being a nuisance.  This is why there are so many protests in Belgium and Poland and England right now, they want their borders closed to migrants. Funny, huh?
Here's a video of the sweets and candy stall - mind blowing!

And finally...

A restaurant called "Street Pecker"?

SERIOUSLY?????

I don't know where these clowns learned how to park but I can tell you that the guy in the middle is not going ANYWHERE until one of the other idiots gets back!

Tomorrow we are off to Ghent to be with family and a LOT of shenanigans are anticipated.  The fact there are 1600 different Belgian beers available will also be a huge factor.
